Circle Experience
I have more than 12 years of experience learning and using Restorative Practices including circles and conferencing working with schools and communities in the twin cities.
I”ve implemented and helped to train more than 500 school staff and community members within five school districts in Minnesota and the upper mid-west on Restorative Practices and the Circle Process.
In Schools: I have used circles in main stream settings and alternative settings. I’ve used circles during opening week, at staff trainings and meetings to develop trust amongst staff. I’ve used circle to have dialogue when serious harm is done in the school community. I facilitate leadership and empowerment groups for students in circle.
