Carolyn Boyes-Watson is the founding director of Suffolk University’s Center for Restorative Justice and Professor of Sociology at Suffolk University, where she has been on the faculty since 1993. Her PhD is in sociology from Harvard University. Carolyn has authored and coauthored articles and books about the criminal and juvenile justice systems as well as restorative justice. Of particular interest is Peacemaking Circles and Urban Youth: Bringing Justice Home (Living Justice Press, 2008), Circle Forward, and Heart of Hope, co-authored with Kay Pranis.
