Rose Gordon
Circle Experience
I facilitated RJ Circles for juveniles for 14 years in Taos County. Additionally I’ve facilitated Talking Circles in various settings: for women in jail, for the dying and their families and for professional end of life caregivers. I’ve used the Circle approach to RJ for Juveniles referred by Juvenile Probation, school counselors or court-ordered and in the various contexts noted.
In my RJ work, I’ve been associated with Upaya Zen Center, Taos County Juvenile Justice Board, and the Taos County Juvenile probation office.
Areas of Interest and Service
I currently focus on training community members and professionals in RJ philosophy, ethics, process, facilitation skills, and Circle design.
